AdVirtues is a blog begun in early 2009 for a social media marketing class at Southern Methodist University’s Temerlin Advertising Institue in Dallas, TX. Its mission is to recognize and analyze positive virtues depicted in advertising, beginning with the 52 virtues defined by the Foundation for a Better Life. Additionally, AdVirtues was created to convey the positive side of advertising to the general public, as well as those with a vested interest in the advertising industry. We are collecting information and examples and cataloging the movement toward social responsibility in advertising.
